In a world dominated by a plethora of beautiful crowns, I solely subscribe to the belief that well maintained hair remains the ultimate crown.
Anyone who knows me knows I have a great attachment to my hair. I try to maintain it by incorporating the best routine and practices for my hair. It wasn’t always this long, but as time went by, I made certain decisions that may have indirectly contributed to my hair growth.
You could be using all the right products for your hair, but seeing no change in your hair growth regardless. In this short post, I share with you 5 tips that you could use alongside your hair routine to help you see the results that you’ve been yearning for.
♡Book your appointments early – Book your salon appointments 24-48hrs prior.
♡Stick to one stylist – Work with one stylist, or a variety depending on the service you seek. For example, I have one specific stylist I go to for all things hair relaxing, another specific one for plaiting, and another one for braiding. Sticking to a stylist depending on their skill in hair service helps them to also learn your hair and make your experience better.
♡Buy your own products – Buy your own hair additions, treatments and shampoos depending on what you think works best for your hair and/or ask your stylist to use your preferred products.
♡Morning hours are best for good service – If you can book in for early mornings, you have an advantage of getting better service as compared to afternoons when other clients keep popping in. Salons are rarely crowded in the mornings.🤗
♡Drink your Water faithfully and Eat well – Add lots of fruits and veggies to your diet and avoid lots of junk. Try to drink atleast 2 litres of water daily (I can drink upto 5l on a good day), and eat fruits or veggies daily if you can (or atleast, regularly).
